Bodegas Zapata wines are made exclusively with grapes from the Ribera del Duero DO (Tinta del País and Albillo Mayor) and the Rueda DO (Verdejo), from vineyards with historic vines, some over a century old. All the processes involved in making Bodegas Zapata wines are 100% artisanal, from bush vine training to gentle pruning, from hand-harvesting to the manual punch-down during fermentation. Furthermore, for aging their most exclusive wines, they use new French oak barrels. Each bottle from Bodegas Zapata reflects the unique identity and terroir of the Ribera del Duero, with intense aromas, an elegant structure, and a complexity of flavors that evolves over time, offering an unparalleled sensory experience.
