Tasting and pairing
Deep red with a bright purple rim. A powerful and luscious wine with great aromatic complexity: ripe fruit and spices (clove, vanilla, coconut), with balsamic notes. It is harmonious and fruity, with the perfect balance between smoothness and acidity. Decanting is recommended to fully appreciate its rich flavor profile. Ideal with red meats, traditional roasts (suckling lamb, suckling pig), aged cheeses, and game dishes. Serve between 16° and 18°C.

Additional information
A powerful and harmonious wine. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, it encapsulates the terroir of the Ribera del Duero in every sip. A sublime choice for lovers of characterful reds. 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País) with grapes harvested from 60-year-old vineyards located in the municipality of La Horra at an altitude of 857 meters. Bodegas Zapata is a family winery created by Ramón and Aitor Zapata as a tribute to their two great passions: wine and horses. This is a boutique winery where quality takes precedence over quantity. Its annual production is limited to 60,000 bottles, and some wines are produced in quantities of fewer than 1,000. This limited and exclusive nature is especially valued by wine connoisseurs. Bodegas Zapata wines are made exclusively with grapes from the Ribera del Duero DO (Tinta del País and Albillo Mayor) and the Rueda DO (Verdejo), sourced from vineyards with historic vines, some over a century old. All processes involved in the production of Bodegas Zapata wines are 100% artisanal, from bush vine training to careful pruning, from hand-harvesting to the manual punch-down during fermentation. Furthermore, for aging their most exclusive wines, they use new French oak barrels. Each bottle of Bodegas Zapata reflects the unique identity and terroir of Ribera del Duero, with intense aromas, an elegant structure, and a complexity of flavors that evolves over time, offering an unparalleled sensory experience.
