Viticulture and production
Hand-harvested from 30-year-old vines planted in the traditional bush vine system under strict dry farming conditions. Fermented at 22-25 degrees Celsius for 15 days, and aged for 9 months in 500-liter French oak barrels.

Tasting and pairing
Bright ruby with a medium body. The nose is intense, with fresh and ripe red and black fruit, balsamic notes, Mediterranean forest, licorice, and coffee from the oak. A smooth, silky, and flavorful entry. This is a long wine with a touch of acidity and elegant tannins that make it very well-balanced. Pairs well with red meats, stews, oily fish, strong cheeses, and Mediterranean rice dishes.
